I am an atheist. Does that affect my view of don't ask, don't tell? Maybe. But your Bible also states to love thy neighbor. Why would a loving God send one of His creations to Hell for a lifestyle that He instilled within them?    Anyways. The "rules" of Christianity should not rule America.
