Re:im new to vegetarianism. - 2011/08/07 09:03 I've been a vegetarian for about 4 years now. If you want to go vegetarian, don't let people stop or discourage you.
Advice, you need to find alternative protein sources and you need to eat more fruits and vegetables. I have a problem with the alternative protein sources because I don't eat nuts, I rarely eat beans and... Talk to a doctor or someone if you need to find alternative protein sources or any other info you need.

Good luck

I am still a vegetarian too and I don't think I'm ever going to change that.
Oh! and one more thing. You need to find a good source of iron that isn't meats. I didn't have a good source of iron so I ended up getting anaemic which got my parents mad at me and they tried sneaking bacon and all sorts of meats into my food (didn't work though, I could always tell when they did that without eating it first). I have to take iron pills daily now because of that. The main thing is, anaemia isn't pretty. I sooo detest it. Try and find a good iron source so you don't end up being anaemic, okay?

p.s I have eating disorders so I can't really find things I'll actually eat that are good sources of iron.
