every year i go with a group of people from my church and we meet with a group called YWAM (youth with a mission) and we build 2, sometimes 4 houses in either tijuana, ensenada, or tecate. it is so much fun and at the end you get to give a family a furnished house. it only takes one weekend...the weekend after thanksgiving and it is so worth it
it is a tradition for me to do this now, with my family every year. it is a blessing to see how grateful these people are that we can provide a house for them when they have nothing.
