Personally, i am supporting a child in Africa who is an orphan through sending her money and multiple gifts around the holidays. She seems to be slowly advancing in school and it is a true blessing to watch her as she grows up into a intelligent, young woman with a lot of potential.
Also, around Christmas time i contribute in the organization that collects shoeboxes full of gifts for children of all ages(Operation Christmas Child) to areas that are in need of some hope for the holidays.
Hope that that inspires others to become involved:) Carolyn
I'm sponsoring 2 kids in Africa who were abandoned by their father and their mother died of TB. I've actually met the kids (once though), I raise money and send to them and other things. During Christmas, a present was sent to my house from them (how nice :) ) I glad that I'm helping to give these kids hope for a brighter future.

You are so right! Hope is important and way more important than money because once we lose hope we lose everything. Our will to live and help others. It's awesome that you sponsor a child. Continue to change the world!
