So, you want to know how I roll? Living with a physical disability challenges and continuously forces me to be creative and to think outside the box. Even though I have my wheels I still have difficulty getting everywhere. It is tricky for me to go to third world countries which is what I would like to do. Until I figure out how I can do that, I’m doing what I can here. My MySpace www.myspace.com/andreonwheels is dedicated to spreading peace and love to all who view it.
At every opportunity I have debates and share my views with people. I’m taking society where there are lots of debates. I have a three step method to tackle social issues.
i.e. Discrimination
1. Determine the causes:
 Ignorance,
 fear and intolerance
2. What causes the initial causes?
 Lack of education, control/understanding and exposure
3. Give solutions for each cause:
 Ignorance = education (more than academic)
 Fear = empowerment, intolerance = better exposure
Despite the obstacles that I face because of my disability I’m still helping undeveloped areas abroad. My entrepreneurship class is fundraising for Kenya then in March my teacher is taking the money we raise to Kenya himself. I recently made a slideshow for an organization called Possibilities International: www.possibilitiesinternational.com . They do relief work in Central Asia. My friend and I are organizing an event on the 1st of December to fundraise to send supplies and a wheelchair to Central Asia. I was also part of KNECT which is a church based group partnered with an organization called PAN www.panmissionscanada.org . KNECT is fundraising for and going to Nicaragua.
When people ask me where I see myself when I have done all of my in school education I say that I am an activist using my skills as a writer and filmmaker in my activism. I will inspire and entertain while getting my messages across to create a better more peaceful planet. And that's how I roll!
