I couldn't post my journal entry so I'm sending it to you.. I hope that's ok and I hope my journal entry makes sense! "I've Got a Crush on Obama"','I first signed up on Barack Obama's 08 website (barackobama.com) I then proceeded (once I was signed up on the website) to create a profile, make friends, and join groups both locally and nationally. I also began attending meetings of my local Democratic Party (they endorsed Obama), learning about what I can do to help get Senator Obama elected. I've emailed people, phone banked, and canvassed at the Farmers Market for Barack Obama. I attended Camp Obama (youngest attendee to date, but I hope not for long!) and learned more ways I can help put Senator Obama in the White House (yes you read that right more ways I, a too-young-to-vote-teenager could HELP ELECT Senator Obama!)',' I began supporting Senator Barack Obama in 2004 when he ran for Illinois Senator. I liked him even more after hearing his 2004 Democratic Convention speech. When my father met Senator Obama he finally decided to buy his 2nd book (Audacity of Hope) which I had been asking him to buy (since I couldn't afford it and I didn't want to check it out of the library). We already owned his lst book (Dreams From my Father). After reading Audacity of Hope I became even more determined to help Sen.Obama in any way possible. I went to a local Democratic party meeting, contacted some people and got to work. I truly believe that Sen. Barack Obama will be put in the White house. He will win Iowa, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Nevada. My latest challenge has been convincing my parents to allow me to go to Iowa to canvass for Barack Obama. I encourage all teenagers who are interested in politics or a particular canidate to not give up and volunteer with the campaign or their local party. Non voting teens can make a difference! And if you can vote, you better vote cuz WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

lol, even though i support mike gravel (and possibly nader if the two choose to merge for nov), its great to see youth and teens going out there and participating in governance and politics. way to go :)

even though i endorse senator clinton i didnt take off ur score for that. Senator Obama is very good at expressing his opinions but i fear that if elected he'll spend too much time expressing this opinions and not actually accomplishing anything. I wonder what issues does he support that you are voting for ? Furthermore as a Stonewall Democrat i feel obligated to vote for Clinton since she has actively supported gay rights. Overall good journal entry.
