What you dont know cant hurt you: ya and the easter bunny is real. I want to promote autism awareness to kids. I want to go around to schools and tell kids what it really is. I know that at 14 i cant find a cure. But, at 14 I can find a way to let people know what is actually going on. My sister is autistic. She gets judgment passed on her constantly. She doesn't really care. But, sometimes she does. I also want people to realize how these people are people. They have good days, bad days, times when they are happy or sad. I just want people to know.

On Autism awareness day, a friend and I volunteered all day at the special needs classes. We helped with teaching, I read stories to all the kids (I remember they made me read 10 green bottles standing on the wall many times! :) ), we then hosted a drawing competition and on the next day, we got THE WHOLE SCHOOL to get into the basketball court where we gave trophy's to the best artists in the special needs class!
I had so much fun with those kids. It's just soo sad that many people treat them terribly.
