Teens at the age of 16 are supposed to be able to work. Adults stereotype us and frown down upon us because they think were lazy and wont work hard enough on the job. Not all teens are like that! We have a right to get a job. Some of us need to help support our families. We want to prevent homelessness which is on the rise. Some teens have to pay rent because the adults cant. Employers need to realize that not all teens are gonna slack off on the job. Some of us work our hands to the bone trying so hard to make a living. We try so hard to just make it through in this economy. Some if us have struggled to the point where we have nothing left and have been top the bottom and the only thing we can do is work. The last thing that we wanted to happen was to fight for our rightd if there freely given, this just proves this isnt a free country.

chances are if they give the right teenager a job they will not be disapointed. Of course the media is hugely to blame for the stereotype of teenagers. The other day i was watching the TV show 'young dumb and living of mum'
and i realised that thoose teenagers are our only reprsentatives in the media, but i dont think i know any teens like that.
