I became part of the Youth Leadership Forum my Junior year of high school. This Forum is sponsored by the Able Trust in Tallahassee, FL and is strictly for kids with all types of disabilities who live in Florida. It is a great experience and teaches those kids how to stand up for their rights and the rights of others. It's a great way to meet kids from all over the state of Florida who have disabilities ranking from learning disorders to the worse disabilities you can think of. It will be my third year attending, and second year as Junior Staff, this coming July. I find myself to be a big leader for disability rights for myself and for the community. I owe it all to YLF, the speakers, and the sponsors for helping me become the person I am today.
SammySingally : Hey Activists! how are you all? I've been doing quite a bit of activist work back here. How bout you? Here's a reminder that you can post journal entries of activists things you've done on here and you can support or give your opinion about causes or people's journal entries.
